Rubin’s 1973 portfolio work was printed by Mourlot in Paris, the legendary French lithography atelier, and all prints in his major portfolios of this period are original color lithographs. This portfolio of 12 lithographs was created in 1973 as a homage to Israel’s 25th Anniversary, with text by Dr. Haim Gamzu, Director of the Tel Aviv Museum, printed by Mourlot in Paris, and published by Transworld Art.
Rubin was an Israeli painter who lived from 1893 - 1974. One of his "Amos" lithographs are in the collection of The Phillips Museum of Art, Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
