Suzanne Magee
Suzanne W. Magee is an artist working in North Florida. She was raised in eastern Pennsylvania and had a previous career in nursing. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing, she worked in the Emergency Department for several years before moving to Florida where she studied Art at the University of Miami. Eventually she moved to Jacksonville and earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and drawing from the University of North Florida.
She has exhibited in regional shows and has a studio in Jacksonville, Florida where she continues to create art. Her work is represented in numerous private collections, galleries, and in public collections such as the Mayo Clinic, Baptist Hospital, the United States Embassy in the Bahamas, and Ponte Vedra Inn and Resort. She is published in Picturing FLorida, a book containing the work of thirty eight artists from northeast and central Florida who represent the visual arts of Florida today.
