When FAC relocated back to Jacksonville from Nashville, we were hired to assist with the renovation of the lobby of the iconic Bank of America Tower in downtown Jacksonville, the tallest building in the city.  While doing so we discovered a beautiful but vacant space on the ground floor at the corner of Bay Street and Laura Street.  We were in need of an office space, wanted to be a part of the downtown revitalization efforts going on and so signed a two year lease and CX904 (The Creative Exchange) was born.

The retail store was composed of all local makers from books to jewelry, spices to candles and of course art and fine art crafts.  Over the two years of the retail space we enjoyed the numerous conversations with artists, patrons and visitors…our saying was that an “Exchange” is a place of business but also a place to exchange ideas.  Ultimately the store became a labor of love and was not independently sustainable without the ongoing financial support of Fogle Art Consulting.  And so, in October of 2024 we closed the downtown space but CX904 is not gone.

We know that the arts are vital to a community. We are working on ways that CX904 can be used as a tool for our community and our makers.  Perhaps as a series of pop up shows, educational resources or even scheduled salon gatherings - please be sure to sign up for the Fogle Art Newsletter and follow our social media to see what is coming next!
